WHO THE F IS NICK JUDGE?
Short Version:
Nick Judge is a non-award winning renaissance man from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan.
Long Version:
Nick Judge is an artist and animator born in Southfield, Michigan…but raised just west in Farmington Hills. He’s been drawing, sketching, and painting since he can remember. He grew up wanting to become an animator to work on cartoons. Once Nick was old enough, he attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit to study animation. It was there he took it upon himself to be more than just a fan of the shows he held so dear. Then, like many others before him, he graduated. Over his 10 year career Nick has worked as an animator in studio/agency settings, as a full time freelancer, and most recently as a marketing and content creative. While animation was his first love, it was over the past five years that he developed a love for creative & content strategy and brand storytelling.
Dedicated to his craft, Nick puts his all into every single one of his creative endeavors. He has a penchant for the dark and strange, the wild and untamed, but he can still clean it up rather nicely.
Outside of the art realm, Nick is a huge outdoorsman & avid fly fisherman. He loves making things, with his own hands, whether it’s tying his own flies for fishing, or screen printing his own clothing and posters. He travels as much as possible, because exploring the world is insanely inspiring. Nick used to be in a folk punk band, and remains a big music nerd. He now uses his musical talents by breaking guitar strings, haphazardly smashing some ivory keys at local advertising award ceremonies, and hitting buttons on drum machines.
